Our History

The 110 Rod & Gun Club was formed in 1946/1947 by 10 original founders. They were Frank Evert, Dan Eustace, Chet Dengel, Harold Littlejohn, Jack Lee, Bill Collin, Joe Berry, Norm Neener, John "Ed" Nye and Hank Conner. The acreage consisted of 110 acres and this is where the club gets its name. The original club house was a one room cabin that Frank Evert had brought here from the Rochester NY area.

Since the forming of the club there have been many updates and additions to the club’s property and buildings. The one room club house is no longer here. In its place we have a large building that contains our meeting room, enclosed porch, full kitchen, pantry and update restrooms and shower. The club also has recently built a large pavilion adjacent to the BBQ pit.

Over the years the club has added additional property adjoining the original 110 acres. The club consists of 215 acres and is boarded by 900 acres of state land. There are many hunting and hiking opportunities throughout the property. There are three gun ranges and a 3D bow course available for member use. Range 1 is the main range and has an updated/new trap field and 5 stand course. This range also has a heated range building and deck that over looks the range with BBQ area. Range 2 is our sporting clays range, and range 3 has three covered shooting benches with various yardage set ups, with a max distance of 100 yards. The 3D bow course contains a dozen targets for bow shooting.

During the year the club hosts many range events that are open to the public. In the late Winter the club has a 5 Stand/Trap League, during the Spring/Summer months there are monthly 5 stand shoots, monthly sporting clays shoots, and monthly 3 gun shoots. In addition the club hosts several events during the year. They are the yearly Venison Dinner and Summer BBQ (clam/steak bake) just to name a couple.

The 110 Rod & Gun Club offers many shooting and hunting opportunities. The club is a family oriented facility and we hope you will visit us at one of our shoots during the year. The schedule and contact information can be found on this web site.
